Wildwood - Does it strike anyone besides me as unusual that the press refers to 18- or 19-year-olds who are killed in a violent encounter with the police as 'teenagers?' However, when a person of that same age group is killed in combat in the service of the country they are called men or women. And why when 18/19-year-old felons die at the hands of the police does the press always publish pictures of them when they were 14 and graduating from middle school? Why is the press perpetuating a false impression? Does a certain childlike quality attach to criminality?
