Wildwood - In Dec., we were jolted out of our beds by a loud boom, followed by smoke coming out of the TV and then the fan lights. The fire department arrived and determined that the neutral on the telephone pole was smoking. Atlantic City Electric arrived and replaced the part. In addition to a fried TV, they also fried a DVD, oven circuitry, electric blanket, etc. Damage was just over $500. We put in a claim with AC Electric. After four weeks, they determined they would not reimburse us at all, although they admit it was broken at the pole. How is this right?

Moderator's Note:
According to Atlantic City Electric Media Relations Manager Frank Tedesco, "We would ask this or any other customer who wants to make a claim to contact Atlantic City Electric customer service at 1-800-642-3780 and a representative will be happy to investigate the issue."
