Wildwood - As a 20 year nurse practitioner I’d like to respond to the spouter from Court House regarding the rise in infections. Much of the rise is due to the lack of healthcare availability while the country had to focus on the pandemic (mismanaged by the former president). STD and immunization clinics had to close. Additionally, anti-vaxxine misinformation has led to too many children not receiving routine vaccinations resulting in the loss of herd immunity. What we need to resolve these public health crises is support of sex ed in the schools and not allowing vaccine exemptions.
