Wildwood - $160K contract for the fire chief is absurd! It is time to institute a recall before the town goes totally broke. Must abolish the entire paid fire department, reduce salaries across the board, or cut personnel in half. Last year's operating budget was $2.2M, what will this year's be? There will be an increase of taxes - at least 10 cents on the dollar for salary increases alone. There are too many outsiders, non-taxpayers, sucking the town dry. The watchdog group must be resurrected; an AG investigation or audit is needed to stop irresponsible govt.
