To a Wildwood spouter who wrote, "..unfortunate times when American soldiers were stationed all over the world ready to get involved in countless foreign nonsense? Isn't our presence now in the Middle East enough..." Obviously he does not understand that the projection of American power since the turn of the 20th century is the main reason we have kept these wars off his doorstep. We have been fighting and dying on foreign soils rather than fighting and dying here. Our pre-WWII trend toward isolationism was almost disastrous for us and the whole world. Study history, some of us lived it.
