Wildwood to spend over 4 million dollars mostly by grant money to improve the community center and football field. Really. A few years ago, we spent nearly 8 million to build this complex. Are the tax paying residents using this complex to warrant this kind of money. Do we even have a football team still. A better plan is to improve the downtown area. Or the back bay area. Build a park there, gardens, walking trail, boat ramp, benches to watch the sunset. My friends and neighbors are in our 80's. Doubt you will see us jogging around the new track in the winter months or playing basketball.
