Why wasn't the public notified of the armed robberies and sexual assault that happened July 19 outside of a convenience store until after the culprits were caught? It was in a busy part of the city and is frequented by families, residents and tourists. This is negligence on behalf of the Wildwood Police Dept. In this day and age, social media and online news sites can spread information and warnings rapidly, and actually help catch criminals. It should not take a month before people are made aware of a threat.
