What can we collectively do to help educate bicycle riders? Evening riders need lights . Fog came in heavy around dusk and a rider ended up crossing in front of me as I am starting to accelerate after stopping. Aside from the fact he could be dead, my life would be ruined too if I hit the guy. I was going 5 miles an hour but he literally skimmed my bumper. Never saw him until he was in front of me! As a local I am very careful anyway about walkers and bikers. Glad for all the renewed cycling but gosh we gotta be safe ! Riders could also practice defensive biking just like driving.
