What a better time than now to finally change the outdated and out of touch local nickname of Warriors in Wildwood. The Washington Redskin trademark logo is constantly used to represent Wildwood New Jersey. The logo in the history behind that logo is imbedded in racist history. It’s time to make a change. It’s time for the school board and administrators to open a discussion. Major population of the schools are minorities. And they are not represented. It’s time to replace and rebuild our image toward racism here in Wildwood. Time to get with the times.
