Wildwood / Vineland - At about 6 p.m. Sept. 14, I heard a loud noise. I looked out my window to see the Old Helena on Baker Ave. The porch was the first to go, then the second deck went. By the time I got to the scene, I saw a woman on the third deck, in apparent shock, and the deck went down. Within moments there were hundreds of firemen responding to help the injured. These brave men and women all jumped in and worked as a team, not knowing the person next to them. They do not get the credit they deserve.
