To those who are defending those who work in the public sector, you must remember that Wildwood is a seasonal town. A small populous that grows, as does business, in summer months to over 100,000 people on any given day. You need the help to provide the services one would expect in a tourist town. But this is winter. The private sector is closed, unemployment is at an all-time high, there are few, if any, opportunities to survive a lucrative lifestyle. Wildwood should follow the example and cut back hours, wages, and institute a hiring freeze.
