They replace the battery operated electric tram engine that is top speed of 15 MPH and replace it with a hybrid truck, capable of reaching speeds in excess of 80 mph. Now fill the cars with people and run upon a crowded boardwalk on any given summer night, that combination of truck and cars could do a lot of damage and hurt a load of people if the operator should decide to become an instant terrorist. I hope the tram car people vet their employees/operators. I see this new combination as being a public hazard if in the wrong hands.
