Take the $1 million open space money and develop the city property on the bay front. Make it a recreation park with a playground, roller skate area, and a ramp to put small boats and kayaks in the bay. Make a walkway and bike trail. Place benches, plant flowers, and paint colorful murals. Make a fenced in dog park so the dogs can run and greet. Make it a beautiful place to sit and watch that wonderful sunset over the bay. Show a movie once a week on a large screen at dark. Have vendors come on Sunday to sell their wares. Isn't that what open space money is meant for?
