Someone made a comment that the majority of welfare recipients are white. Since only about 9 percent of the U.S. population is African American, that comment is of no statistical significance. It also ignores the fact that "welfare" is not a term used when describing the vastly different kinds of government-funded assistance. Racism works in both directions. And the Black Lives Matter movement is a perfect example of that.
