Some spouts have popped up bantering the word "revolution" about in reference to the possible election of various candidates. I think it is more than reasonable to anticipate that within the next few generations there will indeed be a revolution, or some states will attempt or actually will secede from the union. Our social, political and philosophical differences are far too wide to heal peacefully unless a powerful and skilled president gets us back on track. No one in the present crop fills that bill. Unlike older revolutions, it may be characterized by multiple factions vying for power.
