To the senior who feels addiction is not a disease, and the "cold turkey" proponent: Ignorance has never helped solve problems, rather it just perpetuates them. You have no idea what you speak of, only a misguided opinion, which is your right. Flawed behavior, traits and heredity exist in all of us, one way or another. Those who judge the opiate-addicted look past their daily nicotine, caffeine and alcohol consumption like it is completely different. Same with the overweight, over eaters taxing health care and those who refuse to work. Someone else is paying to maintain your bad habits.
