The recent Herald article reports that the new Wildwood budget includes a 4.8 percent tax increase. The story goes on to list a few items which the increase will cover including a "tipping fee". Can anyone explain what this fee is? Since we are a tourist town why aren't the hotels and amusement piers paying a higher rate or surcharge that is passed along to the visitors.
