Politicians and civilians calling for U.S. ground troops for Iraq or Syria should step forward immediately and sign themselves up for such military deployment over there, rather than expecting the children of other parents to do the job. Many civilians have had prior, active Army service, and could easily re-adapt to fighting the Arabs.
