Please tell them that Pittsburgh has reinvented itself from the steel decline in the 1980s and is now about medicine and technology with 45,000 more jobs than at the height of the steel production era. Please tell them that Pittsburgh is rapidly moving forward as a "green" city and that our mayor - along with the mayors from hundreds of other USA cities - will strive to meet carbon reduction benchmarks of the Paris Climate Accord.
