When my kids were little, the one who hated the sand the most now spends most of every day in the summer. Parents, when your kids complain about being on the beach all day, stating, "I would rather be spending all of my time on the Boardwalk," stay on the beach with them, swim and build sand castles because they do not always know what's best for them. Us, parents do.
