Per OSHA 1910 Respiratory Protection Standard, firefighters are supposed to maintain a "2 in, 2 out" policy. Can the Wildwood Fire Department explain how they maintain that standard while two of their shift firefighters are on a medical call? They regularly staff just 5 firefighters, and with 2 regularly dispatched on a medical call, this leaves only 3 on the firefighting staff, thus preventing the 2 in 2 out standard. Is there a reason for the regular insufficient staffing?
