Wildwood / North Wildwood - I read about a recent Wildwood commissioner's meeting and all the concern about the school budget being short. I have lived in a few NJ towns in my lifetime and have attended council meetings. Nowhere at any council meeting was there ever a discussion or comment about a school budget because that is 100% managed by the school board and 0% managed by council and mayor. Due to lack of enrollment, it would be wise for a feasibility study to become a sending district and close the school. This could possibly reduce the property taxes by 32% due to minimal overhead cost, unlike now.
