Wildwood / North Wildwood - I do not believe that a "host" hotel will make any difference in Wildwood, or have any effect on the convention center booking business. We already have two year-round conference centers on the island: Bolero and Montego Bay. They employ less then 50 employees each in the winter due to sparse occupancy. The other, smaller, local hotels, though very few in numbers, manage any winter convention business. I am not sure the addition of an official "host" hotel will make any difference in convention bookings.
