I don't understand the Wildwood commissioners' mentality regarding beach fees. North Wildwood and Wildwood Crest are doing fine managing their budgets for the beach lifeguards and maintenance without beach fees. The motel room tax as well as increased meter locations and meter fees are doing fine for NW and WC. This only highlights the fact that the Wildwood commissioners can't manage money, since they also take in a room tax and meter fees, in addition to the tourism stipend of $200,000+. It doesn't cost NW or WC $2 million a year to maintain and protect the same-sized beach.
