With non-stop discussion of police body cameras, is anyone else confused as to how they will be the magic cure to prevent bad cop behavior? It is my understanding that the police must first activate the camera before they begin recording. If you are a bad cop intent on causing bodily harm, why would you first turn on a camera? Better that bystanders with camera phones do the recording.
