My current job which I also did some time ago is reading utility meters most of which are in the rear of or corridors surrounding buildings. I cannot believe the condition of some of these places, they are worse than ever. Holes and rotted walls where things can crawl in and out of, never mind the trash and smell. Building and health inspectors should look at the whole exterior, not just walk in and get a free whatever.
