The million dollar question: are the government agencies open for business or not? I have been helping my newly divorced neighbor who has hit a rough patch in her life. Over the past week we Went to DMV, need an appointment for everything. Attempted the social security building, rudely greeted at door. No entry. Made 2 visits to social service building and they close in the middle of the day for an hour and took late hours away. So they are making it difficult for a working mother with limited transportation to get this accomplished. New Jersey is not as open as you would assume.
