On Memorial Day weekend, there were 24 teenagers from a single house on Pacific Ave. that received a summons from the Wildwood Police Department for underage drinking, after multiple calls to the extremely busy police dept. This house has been a nuisance for years, as the landlord rents it to parents who allow their teenagers to party with their friends unsupervised for an entire summer. The city claimed to be cracking down on issuing mercantile licenses to these landlords, but they seem to be looking the other way.
