Wildwood officials should take note of repeated articles in a daily paper reporting the attractions and selling points of family-friendly Ocean City, which has become a prime destination for tourists. In the same edition, the paper reported a shoot-out by McDonald's in Wildwood, fights on the Boardwalk, drunk teens and numerous drug arrests. All the dollars spent to promote visits to Wildwood are useless if the town is perceived as unsafe.
