The majority of home owners in Wildwood pay their taxes but are not residents and therefore cannot vote. We rely on the locals to vote, and get the best government for our money. But to have two slates running against the incumbents was stupid. You split the votes against the current office holders. Just having the city employees, friends and families of the current government vote was enough to cover the spread. They didn't win the election, the two opposing slates had the most votes combined, but lost. Four more years is a long time. Look for higher taxes and more hiring of friends.
