The Mahalo project gets approved in the Crest after 5 years . The engineer for the owner said the existing structure was compromised and could not be built on. So the plan is to make the building wider with less parking ? Why not tear down the structure and build taller with parking under the new building and not wider blocking the view corridor . A new tall hotel would be nice . The existing structure has been open to the elements for 5 years now and already has temporary supports under it demolish it and start over.
