Investors want to build a distillery on Spicer Ave. Why would the city even consider putting a distillery with public consumption of hard liquor on a residential street? Rather than buy one of the many vacant bars/clubs or lots on Pacific Ave., they've already bought a residential lot which is cheaper than a commercially zoned lot on Pacific, and now they want to ram through zoning variances. There is already no parking on this street in summer. If the city's aim is to revitalize Pacific Ave., put this on Pacific. If this goes through, every other residential street will be subject to this.
