I would think that black students would not be i favor of affirmative action that gives preferential acceptance because of race. Who wants to be admitted to a college under circumstances that makes a student be perceived as only getting accepted because of a special circumstance, whether it be race or legacy. I was neither, and while I was not accepted at an ivy-league college, I know that I earned my degree because of my hard work. And, yes, I paid off every cent of my loan over many years.
