I was told the dog beach would be patrolled by officers and it is not. I see waste left on the beach, the owners have their dogs off leash and as I suspected, no cops are on the beach to enforce this. I was told prior to the "grand opening" that this would be enforced as well as the dogs being contained only to Poplar Ave., which is not the case. As predicted, I see dogs up and down the boardwalk and beach all hours of the day.
