I never understood why the covered seating area at the Lions Center bus stop was taken down by the former mayor.People have to sit on the grass where dogs do their business.You have mom's with children sitting on the curb,which is dangerous as the bus is turning the corner.And what about the elderly from the senior center that have a hard time standing and have to lean up against the pole or nearby trash can.The new mayor needs to put the enclosed seating back. I understand they didn't want the homeless hanging out there but there has to be a better solution other than punishing bus riders.
