I agree with an Avalon spouter who said that doctors are worth every cent they earn. They spend their lives in pursuit of excellence. They worked hard, and got good grades all through school. Aside from a few lucky ones who have committed a number of years in armed forces, they pay a staggering tuition in medical school that leaves them with a lifelong debt far greater than most can imagine. They spend years as interns and residents working intolerable hours at low pay and when they can finally become attending physicians, they are strapped with terrible insurance costs.
