How come the religous advice of the Herald seems to be so tame as compared to the directive we get from the Pope? Example is your Evangelical Minister recommends that deal with the starving children in Gaza by praying for the peace of Jerusalem. Pope Leo XIV denounced violations of international and humanitarian law in Gaza and Ukraine, lamenting the “diabolical intensity” of the violent conflicts and criticizing the imposition “of the principle of ‘might makes right in these territories all for the sake of legitimizing the pursuit of self-interest”. Pope Leo calls for action not prayer.
