How can I afford a 17 cents city tax increase with another eight cents increase from the school tax? That is a 25 cents increase in one year. They need to reduce city services and school programs to lower the tax increases. My home assessment went up, so I will not get any help from the city wide reassessment, like stated in the city statement. Looks like fuzzy math to me.
