During the flooding in Wildwood last week, it was very frustrating to arrive at the foot of the bridge from Rio Grande, only to be notified that it was closed and you must turn around to travel via North Wildwood or Cape May. How much nicer it would have been to have been advised, perhaps in Rio Grande, that the George Redding Bridge was closed and to try an alternate route. It would have saved not only time and gas, but also frustration to Cape May County residents.
