Why do most start out their complaint saying I'm a taxpayer?

Wildwood Crest - Why do most start out their complaint saying I'm a taxpayer? Everyone pays taxes. Some not property taxes if they rent, but everyone for the most part pays taxes. How about keeping in mind that we live in a really nice area? I always say if you're not happy, maybe you should make a change, and go find a place that makes you happy.
