Wildwood Crest - Who out there has ever had someone spit directly in their face? And if so, what was your reaction? Spitting on a police officer is aggravated assault. Maybe one day the disrespectful, disgusting, out of control "poor guy" will think twice. As for training, yes, many hours are taught to the young officers but how much should one take? Maybe he should have said, "OK sir now that you spat in my face you are under arrest. Please place your hands behind your back so I may place handcuffs on you, thank you." Give me a break. Most actions will receive a reaction. Too bad.
