Wildwood Crest - Our community uses summer help to provide staffing during the busy months. We should not be hiring additional staff that is not needed during the slower months. Our Public Safety department is currently proposing staff increases. Additional staff will impact our taxes. On average, a new hire costs an additional 35% on top of salary for things such as retirement and health care benefits. Residents need to attend commissioner meetings (1st Wednesday 9:30 am and 3rd Wednesday 5:00 pm) to stay on top of what is going on in our community.
