Wildwood Crest - My experience in high school was the mid 70s. There was little support for women who had experienced sexual assault. Some didn’t even know that being targeted as “easy” and being used serially was acceptable. It is time to let men and women know that being aggressed upon is not love, or caring, it is power. We need to know ourselves, know that we have power over our bodies, and get out of bad situations. Can we at least learn that? And if assaulted, tell. Man or woman, church, school, family, it happens everywhere. Be not afraid.
