We may have found the “base” support level of Donald Trump. The take home message is that at a time our country is in a catastrophic pandemic that is threatening to destroy our health care and our economy, the President of the United States is trusted by a mere 37% of his fellow citizens. If this catastrophe cannot bring Americans to rally around their President, Donald Trump is staring into his political abyss in November.
