Wildwood Crest - It is a crime that a law is being ushered in starting Oct. 1 that homeowners must charge up to 14 percent to anyone renting a home or condo. There is no information to pay our taxes, how much or to who. And, home rentals through realtors are exempt. Everyone thinks one makes so much money when they rent. Not so, with a water bill, electric bill, fire inspection, home insurance, cable, mercantile license, advertising at $800 a year, not to mention we pay more in everything because we rent. It will hurt tourism. Why would people come to New Jersey when they can go to an all-inclusive, cheaper place for a week?
