Wildwood Crest - I thought the original Pacific Ave. plan was a good idea, but I voted against it because I did not like the way it was presented. If four lanes is a traffic hazard now, then why didn't the elected officials and the professional engineers think about the hazard prior to starting the project 32 months ago? Police Chief Joseph McGrath stated the engineer's report did not include near misses he has witnessed on Pacific Ave. It's an engineering study and near misses do not and should not be included in any study.
