Wildwood Crest - I read the press release by the Wildwood Police Department regarding the alleged resisting arrest incident where a police officer appeared to punch a man standing on the street for disorderly conduct. Nobody is condemning the entire police department, the problem is when the entire police department will not admit there may be one bad officer. I understand it is an extremely tough job dealing with the public, I have a police officer in the family. He should have waited for backup. This type of image erodes the trust of the public.
