Wildwood Crest - I have been coming to Wildwood Crest for 65 years, and during the 50s and 60s it was safe and easy to cross Pacific Avenue, but that is no longer the case. I now live in the Crest year-round, and on many occasions I have taken my life in my hands in attempting to cross Pacific Avenue. Many times I am stuck in the middle of the road because drivers do not stop, even if you are in the crosswalk. For the town's new logo, I was going to suggest "Caveat Ambulator," which means pedestrian beware. With the median project, I thank our town fathers in trying to make the Crest a safe place to walk.
