Wildwood Crest - Every season opens the floodgates of stupid, arrogant, and self assured individuals who think it is OK to blindly walk in front of approaching vehicles that transverse the island streets. Without regard of using a marked pedestrian crossing or choosing a traffic controlled intersection these people walk right in front of an approaching vehicle believing they are protected by law and are right. There is such a thing as being dead right, but remember, you are still dead! Highway safety should be a shared responsibility not in favor of one or the other!!!
