Wildwood Crest - The Electoral College makes it so each state has a say in the presidential election. If the electoral college were not there, the cities near the ocean would choose the president. This means that 11 states would choose the president without the electoral college. This would not be fair to the middle states, Alaska, and Hawaii. Fair is fair. No one complained about this system four or eight years ago. If anything, you should be yelling for a national primary.
